Yep. Adelphia goes offline for maintenence periodically without any notification at all. you have to call the 800 #, navigate 4 layers down into their response system, wait on hold for 10 minutes, then get a recorded message that tells you they're out to lunch! <br><br>
I have Earthlink Cable via Time/Warner, and the service for some reason is lousy lately. Not sure whose fault it is, but if I were able to get DSL, I would probably fire 'em and get somebody else. <br><br>
Cox Communications' Cable Modem service has been near perfect for me since moving to Phoenix, though it was somewhat flakey in Las Vegas (but that was when it first came out, so I kind of half expected problems).<br><br>When there are planned outtages, they're usually very late at night, or very early in the morning.<br><br>
