Ahhhhh, all has become clear now. It turns out the zip file I was trying to download automaticly trys to install Winzip.

I find it annoying that we live in a time when we can do so many amazing things with computers and yet I still need a PC for things. The whole reason I went to a Mac was to get away from the crappy code, endless bugs and hacks, spyware, and the dreaded blue screen of death.

Yes, the PC has a broader range of users, but lets face it, the Mac is more stable, cleaner and 'smart' user friendly.

I'm leaning towards nutty's opinion... .zip files shouldn't be prompting you to install anything. Both Panther and XP have native .zip capabilities so there should be no reason you'd need to install extra software to unzip it.

If you ran it on a PC you might want to do a virus check.
