My next printer will be HP. Epson has worn out its welcome.<br><br>

I can't complain, I get flawless operation from both my HP and my Epson. My only gripe is the cost of the ink cartidges for the Epson.<br><br><br>but where will we be when the future comes?

I fired Epson 3 years ago and haven't looked back!<br><br>I bought a Canon printer. The cartridges are about 1/10th the cost of Epson's.<br><br>

I haved used my Epson 740 since it was new. Still does the job for me. I get me ink cheap at printcountry.com<br><br>

My 1280 still does a fine job, and it's 4 years old. But gawd fo'bid you need tech support. Fuhgettaboutit...<br><br>

That Epson 740 is a workhorse...I had one of those. <br><br>

ink4art and InkDaddy sell cheap Epson-compatible cartridges. Check DealMac for coupon codes. InkDaddy has generally had cheaper prices lately. The only problem I've ever had with either cartridges is that I may have to run the printers through an extra cleaning cycle occasionally.<br><br>My biggest gripe lately is Panther's inability to hold Presets for the 1280. I don't know if it's a Panther glitch or an Epson glitch. I have both a 1290 and C84 connected so maybe the presence of both confuses Panther. Anyhoo, it's a pain to have to reset everything every time I want to make a nice printout on good paper.<br><br>
