Starbucks? Is there no place where you're at that serves decent coffee? I'd rather drink battery acid than a starbucks coffee... which is interesting because that's exactly what it reminds me of.

You and me both.

OMG and now you admit to taking no sugar in your iced tea. Do they even let you back into Kansas?

Kansas as a sweetened state??? I never thought that - The south, sure. But I'd thought of Kansas as a strictly unsweetened state, though I'll admit that my reserach is not quite "scientific"

yeah, kansas was not originally part of the south. we were strictly an unsweetened state and it took me until i was in my 20s to make the shift away from adding sugar.

--
one of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. -Plato

Starbucks? I hate that burnt tasting crap. I made my husband mix it with Folgers in the coffee maker. Now we just have Folgers or whatever from the market. Hey isn't this topic in the wrong forum? If we're talking beverages why don't you girls take it over to the lounge? j/k *ducking out quick*

I think (and this thread has some validation for this) there is something coded in human beings' DNA that disallows them from having the same political view as their mothers.

-- Charlie Alpha Roger Yankee Whiskey
My sister informed me that my mother voted against gay marriage or civil union rights.

I'm tempted to remind her that she's on her fourth marriage, not exactly someone that should be teaching others about marriage. Of course, I would never do that. Its just not a good idea to pick political fights with your parents.
