well, my point is that reporting spin is not responsible journalism. i agree that what is said in the debate should be the substance of the after-debate talk and should be analyzed. i wouldn't even mind having a large group of independents score the debate throughout and report what the consensus was for the group during key moments (e.g., jokes, key moments of disagreement, etc.). but, to turn it over the party hacks and stakeholders of a given candidate is meaningless . . . and degrading to the people viewing.<br><br><br>--<br>one of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. -Plato
