this is the perfect environment to slip the old ear piece in since he's using it for an interpreter anyway. i don't hear the "echo" stumble when dubya screws up. it's different audio and dubya's timing is off from the "echo" in that he's quicker to respond or follow it at times and slower others.

--
one of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. -Plato

In reply to:

The part where you say he fumbles, you can't hear the "I look workin'" part because the real Bush is speaking too loudly and it drowns it out. You only hear the second half which is spoken correctly by both dubyas. Is there another area you heard a difference between the two voices? It even sounds like his stupid-ass hick accent, but then those are a dime a dozen ---»

Trog's right. The fumble in the "prompter" voice is covered by Bush's voice, so we just don't hear the prompter. I'm inclined, once again, to say it's the same voice. Just a technical glitch. I have to admit that it's a big relief to see it that way. The presidential puppet on a wire was just too much. I don't like Bush, but that would be like something out of a science fiction movie, and I'm not ready for that. I was seriously depressed about it!

Thanks Trog, for pointing out what I, in my half-sleeping stupor, missed.

Shooshie

[color:green]Pictures and things

i turned my speakers up as loud as they'd go and i just don't hear the stumble in the other audio that dubya makes. even though dubya is talking, i should still be able to distinguish something when the volume it way up, but i don't.

--
one of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. -Plato

Ok, conspiracy or no, what the hell is this thing, cause he even wears it at the Ranch? The idea that it is Rove's link to the president's brain (brain? neural net, maybe) might be outrageous, but it would be nice to know why our president walks around with a piece of unknown hardware on his back. So far all the White House will say is that its a rumpling of fabric. Do they think we're stupid? Oh.... yes, I guess they do. More nonsense at Salon.
