No matter who wins the election, Kenneth Lay will receive at least a partial presidential pardon from George W. Bush. Bush will give some vague reasoning such that Lay did not know what was going on or deserves better treatment for his philanthropy in Texas. Bush will say, "He's a good man."<br><br>After this happens, Democrats will complain and be met with references to the pardon Clinton gave to Marc Rich from the Republican echo chamber.<br><br>Chance of this actually happening: @<br>Chance of this happening closer to the new year or at the end of Bush's second term should he win: U<br>Chance of me being totally wrong and the Bush Administration dropping old Kenney-Boy like the bad company he is: probably a lot better.<br><br>-- Charlie Alpha Roger Yankee Whiskey<br>
That's pretty far off...the last-minute pardons (should Bush win) won't come until January of 2009.<br><br>I pretty much give any president a pass on most pardons...especially family, because I would do the same thing. <br><br><br>
