Why do some of the elements looks Photoshopped to me...?

Like the guy, and the TV mounted on the wall for example...

[color:red]C'mon...you know me.

Yeah... some of that looks fabricated. Too funny to be true kind of thing. The keyboard looks out of place to be dated 1964...

--
http://www.stevenkimband.com/
Photoshop, yep, that was my imppression too. Look at the paper, the TV, the KB, and even the guy. Still a good joke, but unlikely to be the prediciton of 40 years ago. Also, if they were to predict a computer back then, it would have been for the year 2000 to make it an even number.

_________________________________________
You expect me to sign here or somethin?

this is definitely a FAKE because, while FORTRAN was created in 1954, it wasn't commercially available outside IBM until 1957.

geez... I programed FORTRAN last spring in one of my computer classes... I don't like working with languages older than my dad

-Matt

FORTRAN was the standard language taught in beginning comp sci courses back when I was in college. I still remember doing the punch cards and debugging by going through reams and reams of printer paper

FORTRAN is still the best language for doing mathmatical work. It all comes down to storing of matrices by column first, then by row. C is the other way around. While C seems to make more sense, it's faster for most matrix calculations if the data is stored by columns.
