Target disk mode is great. To be safe, I'd say, connect an FW cable from one machine (running) to another machine (shut down). Then, start the machine shut down, holding down "T" and the hard drive of that machine will show up as a volume on the machine which was first running.<br><br>
like others have stated - firewire target disk mode.<br><br>shut one down, connect firewire cable between the two, power on while holding down the T key.<br><br>once the other has booted it's screen will display a floating FW icon. The drive of that computer should be automounted on the other computer<br><br>You cant polish a Turd.
