For Francis the dog.

He was hit by a car yesterday and died pretty quick. A friend recently rescued from an abusive home. He only got a bit more than a month of living good. I am NOT a dog person, but this one was my friend. So sad…

Anytime a dog goes like that it's tragic...at least it was quick..

[color:white]God speed, mikeb. Go drive your Boxster in the big Autobahn in the sky...

That's so sad to hear, at least he went quickly and hopefully didn't suffer much. It's always hard losing a pet you cared for, a couple of years ago when we lost our first dog to leukemia it was fast by medical standards but painful none the less.

Cherry I'm sorry to hear that. I love dogs, and up untill my divorce last year I had two. I miss my dogs more than I miss my ex. I can imagine the heartbreak to have one killed by a car.

Salus populi suprema lex

Poor little guy, I'm glad, at the end, he people to give him the love and respect he deserved. It's been crazy around here the last two days. Yesterday a 19 year old guy in my town was killed when hit by an Amtrak train. Last night a 27 year old guy was hit an killed after leaving the Patriots game (in the town next to mine) last night and this morning a 14 year year old girl was hit and killed in a cross walk on her way to school in a neighboring town.
