You have to be kidding me.

First you say...

In reply to:

authorities in Florida have continued to try disenfranchising black people.

As if it were an undisputed fact (and without so much as a link to some sort of reputable story about current ongoing efforts to disenfranchise). Then you have the gumption to comeback with...

In reply to:

Do you have any other wonderful rhetorical devices in that wonderful bag of tricks?

I think the sputum of DNC talking points is a little played out myself.

Dean Davis

-----
"I think it was the right decision to disarm Saddam Hussein. And when the president made the decision, I supported him, and I support the fact that we did disarm him." -- John Kerry (D) - May 3, 2003
I'm basing my criticism here on the fact that Florida botched their voter purge four years after their last purge was blamed for disenfranchising hundreds of black people. This is something they knew about and they [censored] it up again.

Now if you want to try to dismiss my criticism with some caricature of what you think the stereotypical activities of black people, than you simply are not arguing within the realm of what we know to be true. I'm talking about real problems here, not some estimation of what I think to be happening based on some unrelated instances of racial irresponsibility.

Please... give me a break.

-- Charlie Alpha Roger Yankee Whiskey
You may have missed it, but there has been trouble this year with the Florida voter roll purge, the exact same problem they had four years ago when black people were turned away from the polls. Some had names similar to felons. Some were noted for having committed a felony in the year 2007.

Sorry I don't have a link. You can take my word at face value.

That bit about DNC talking points is great. That accusation gets thrown around when ever anyone talks about racial issues, social security, the state of the economy, Iraq, hell... any real issue.

-- Charlie Alpha Roger Yankee Whiskey
