but the original didn't have the option when you bought it... I remember that some company came out with XPod or XPlay or something to let it work Windows but i'm hoping she wouldn't need that now since there's iTunes for Windows...<br><br>

I think if you plug it into a windows box running itunes, it will offer to format it. <br><br>

I don't think you can...<br><br>I have the original iPod and I don't think it's possible without some 3rd party software, which I don't know of any.<br><br>
