Unless Kofi Annan, Jacques Chirac and Gerhard Schroeder are fully on-board, that means we're going it alone.

Great Britain...Australia....that's just window dressing

when did he say that? i heard him talk about how we are bearing the brunt of the costs and the brunt of the casualties. by comparison to us, what have those other countries contributed (i would guess that the UK is in a very distant 2nd with most of those countries providing little to no resources and suffering little to no ill effects -- e.g., deaths)? i get the feeling that you're selectively interpreting his comments out of context as has become the 'in' thing to do these days.

"Tribal sovereignty means that, it's sovereign. You're a—you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And, therefore, the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities." dubya 8.6.04
There have been 1,136 coalition deaths, 1,005 Americans, 65 Britons, six Bulgarians, one Dane, two Dutch, one Estonian, one Hungarian, 19 Italians, one Latvian, 10 Poles, one Salvadoran, three Slovaks, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and eight Ukrainians.

That makes the coalition of the coerced, who went along to get some freebies from big brother, not that willing to get their ass shot off. Or, in other words, a really long list of names but more than 90% of the dead are American soldiers. Willing. Right.

luciferase is a four nineteener
Oh, right. It's only a coalition if it's Paul's Approved Coalition of the Negative Contrarians. Oops, did I question your patriotism?

****************

[color:blue]VOTE[color:red] for President George W. Bush on November 2, 2004

Now I'm the one who has to ask for a translation. Say what? Dead is dead. A pretty good measure of these countries willingness. Or else they are better soldiers? Is that what you mean?

luciferase is a four nineteener
Ahh, you're not a Coalition Nation unless you serve up 1,000 dead in 18 months. Paul's rules.

****************

[color:blue]VOTE[color:red] for President George W. Bush on November 2, 2004

It's just numbers Matt. No higher math abilities required. Most of the dead are Americans. More than most of the money is our tax dollars at work. Virtually all of those countries took payoffs in order to show up while we fork over 130 billion dollars and more than a thousand lives. Have you been to a funeral in the past 18 months where they play taps and fire off a volley? Sometimes they can't nowadays because we are running out of men to do the detail. They go into the ground in silence.

Have you been to a VA hospital in the past eighteen months Matt? I think everyone who supports this war should volunteer as a nurses aide for a week there. Go look at all the amputees because we are saving their bodies with the body armor. Until you do that your hawkish rants supporting this dolt for a President ring hollow. My apologies if you just got home from Roudebush V.A.

Or better yet, sign up.

luciferase is a four nineteener
Don't pass off your Michael Moore crap, Paul. Show me proof where ALLLL these countries took "payoffs." What a moron.

The members of our Armed Services are serving their country proudly in a fight for freedom, they even fight for liberal nay-sayers like you who exploit their deaths in posts like this. You make me ill.

****************

[color:blue]VOTE[color:red] for President George W. Bush on November 2, 2004

And your ferved youthful enthusiasm without any sacrifice makes me ill. I guess we are even.

But back to your list and the numbers. I don't think I have anything to prove. The number of deaths make an obvious correlation between willingness by words and willingness by deed, Shoot you can add yourself as an additional country of Mattonia to your list. Your list is worthless. It is a leader saying, yeah sure Mr. Bush put me on the list. What does that mean? Nothing. What does it mean when the country puts its young soldiers on the line? Now that is something. It is a verifiable item one can assess. The easiest way to assess is to count the caskets. What the frig does Michael Moore have to do with this? Another conspiracy theory Matt? Am I a paid shill for Michael Moore?

This lame "exploiting their deaths" shtick is pretty lame too. Is it exploiting to count the dead? To go to their funerals? To visit them in a VA hospital? If you think so you are the sick puppy. Is that why Bush doesn't go to any funerals? Because he has a fear he might exploit their deaths?

I think they would like to be counted.

luciferase is a four nineteener
