We also have a photo of him doing donuts on the track forming a nice circular smoke shape... not exactly great for ad layout, but a cool photo!

Yeah, that's what I figured -- but my first thought was of a blown engine ;-)

Oh well, obviously the client has vetted the image so no big deal =)

Good job, Giz!

***matt

Turn up the signal, wipe out the noise ...
Ahh! You're giving me flashbacks. I used to work at a PR/advertising firm whose clients were 98% performance automotive. Your ad there looks very similar to what we used to do for NOS. I did everything from tons of similar ads, to the vinyl advertising that is trackside at NHRA events, to the :20 spots that appear on Motel 6-vision (Winston-vision at the time I did it). I was so glad to get out of there when I did and get some variety again. That whole industry is a disturbing good ol' boys club.

Yeah, CMYK can suck the very living soul out of an RGB image ... so going the other way can get very intense at times ;-)

But your final file will be CMYK, right? So hopefully no worries =)

***matt

Turn up the signal, wipe out the noise ...
