How about a size limit in pixels and kbs for the signature. You can set up prefs so it won't upload anything not in the specifications. Is that possible?

For Mike

Ah, I gotcha. Well, either way... you guys decide if you want to make rankings for everyone or if you want to be able to make up your own individual one (if that is even possible with the new software).

Well, either way. The only way I think it's possible with phpbb software is for a moderator or admin to do it- which would be very time consuming for anyone in that position.

Of course, if you had some *cough* Daddymac *cough* extra moderators to help out...

[color:white]God speed, mikeb. That's what I meant too. More creative!

I guess it's bye-bye to Gogo...

If that can be implemented, I'd be a happy camper. File size isn't an issue for those of us with rippin' fast connections, but can be for dial-uppers and some folks outside the U.S. who have to pay per minute or per MB of D/L.

And I'm sure I'm not alone when I express my utter loathing of gigantic (height X width) signature images, and/or line-after-line-after-line of text signatures.

I agree. It doesn't have to be restricted in software as long as everyone knows the restriction. Then if someone violates the guideline, we can jump all over 'em and verbally rip 'em to shreds!

Larry,

Outstanding...phpbb is awesome. I wouldn't mind starting over from scratch, even if it means we lost everything and had to re-register.

The Political forum is a great idea...that way we can rumble with the liberals without offending everybody else

Individual titles would be much better than rankings..then no post padding just to "one-up" or be a "master"
