Is there a reason that my web broswer using DSL is much much slower when im doing a file transfer over AIM?
Should it be that much slower? Its going slower than 56k, atleast it seems.
Is that because all the speed is going to the file transfer?
I have a G5 now and I dont think it did it this bad on my G4.

Is there a setting on AIM to throttle bandwidth or be more "nice" in the background?

What about iChat? Have you tried file transfer using that?
