I replied at MC and decided to come here. Mike and I had shared a few PM's and a couple I had saved. I just read them now again. <br>It's with tears in my eyes that I know Mike will never sail again.<br><br>

I just don't what to say. I've not been here much lately either, and all this time, I thought Mike was just taking a forum break. I had no idea he was ill. I pray that he won't suffer, and that Lena will find the strength to get through this.<br><br>I know I'll miss him.<br><br>
Oh my... Thanks for the update John. All the secrecy had me wondering, but I would never have guessed it was something this advanced. I almost feel like I really know him, even though I haven't ever seen him or carried on a real conversation with him. <br><br>I understand the seriousness of the situation and that recovery would require a near miracle, but I'll continue to hope for it just the same. <br><br>Cheers, Mike. <br><br><br><br><br><br>

I've been looking at the pictures of his new house... Remembering him being on dialup in between selling the old house and moving there, showing us the cabinets and floors he was thinking of choosing ... and wondering how so much could have happened in such a short time!<br><br>Damn.<br><br>I just had a cancer scare myself and won't know if all is well until the 6 month checkup. In a single heartbeat your whole world can turn upside down. <br><br>May God comfort Mike and his family. Very sad news. <br><br>Thanks for telling us, John.<br><br>
