Well, I've been doing that. And for others who would just like to gander at one good example I could find of each candidates position and records on one of my favorite subjects "Preventing Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Weapons Terrorism" you can take a look here...
Kerry
Bush

You really must read it all and take it in and compare the two.
Bush has quite a real world track record and Kerry does give some specifics on what he'd like to do. But, if someone were to ask me what the difference is on one sentence I would say that Kerry's positions is "I'm going to do what Bush is doing except faster."
(Ok, two sentences... "I'm going to do what Bush is doing except faster. Also, I'm going to eliminate some weapons systems.)

Dean Davis

-----
"They are possibly the dumbest people on the planet" -- Michael Moore on his fellow US citizens
Well of course Mr. Bush has a "real world track record." The man is president! It would be laughable if he didn't. What was his track record four years ago? Would a similar comparison of

[color:blue]Bush
[color:blue]Gore

have led you to the same conclusion about Bush that you're reaching now about Kerry? What you're looking at, in short, is the advantage that any incumbent in office has.

That granted, there are, from my humble point of view, so many many many negatives for Mr. Bush, that there's just no question about whom I'd vote for.

And Kerry has been a senator for 19 years. Still looking for his track record of leadership. Looks to me like Bush has gotten more done in 4 than Kerry in 19. I know, I'll just go back to the last four days of the convention and listen to all his supporters touting his 19 years in the senate and all that he personally accomplished there. I have five minutes to spare.

Dean Davis

-----
"They are possibly the dumbest people on the planet" -- Michael Moore on his fellow US citizens
Bottom line;

All Kerry can do is present a plan = Promise yada yada - Even any current President and yes even Bush too can only make a plan.

Plans equals Promises.
There are extreme hurdles to go through to make a plan come true. So Kerry and Bush plans may never see the light of day to begin with.

Sounds great though but in reality ??
