there should be a panel on the back of the iMac to connect it, the earlier iMac models didnt have this, so i dont know if yours does ot not<br><br>but i believe all you will be able to do is mirroring the screen (ie what you see on your iMac screen will also be on the LaCie monitor, not adding to it)<br><br>
