Pardon me if I am asking a stupid question, but is there any information about when G5 Powerbooks will be available. I'm looking to make the switch via a powerbook but do not want to feel screwed for getting a powerbook now instead of waiting a few months.<br><br>Thanks in advance.<br><br>

I heard that the dealers are having difficulty ordering iMacs. Some say Apple is trying to get rid of the stock of G4 iMacs and they will soon introduce the G5 iMac. If that happens, than we can expect a Powerbook soon as well, because the engineers face similar difficulties with the iMac that they have for the powerbook.<br><br>

You most likely won't see a G5 iMac until next year either... but I would expect speed bumped G4 iMacs in the near future. It makes sense to keep the gap between pro and consumer models this large... it helps sell the more profitable towers to people who are "on the fence."<br><br>I'm MacGizmo,[color:red] and I approved this message.</font color=red>
