Your first mistake was flying Southwest. So I'm not sure who's fault it actually was? You could have flown America West which serves both airports. I believe US Airways and Continental do as well. Or you could have gone to CheapTickets and purchased an airfare on United or American from LA or NY or just about anywhere in the USA for under $200.00 to ORD (O'Hare).
