A little slow today, so I thought I'd share what I've been doing, little by little, to change the look of my desktop...

Been using the 'Clipper System' icons from iconfactory, and with a little help from Pixadex, Candybar and CanCombineIcons, I've been slowly converting all my finder & app icons to go along with the theme...

I like it a lot- just wish they'd make some more!

Portion of the dock: (damn Quark!)

My volumes & folders on the desktop (created that Mac HD one myself with CCI, as well as the downloads and 'burn now' folders)

Toolbar from my Finder windows:

[color:red]You slap my back, I'll slap yours!
Ok how do I go about changing icons in 10.2.8? I've been playing with themes, which has been cool, but I still haven't figured out the whole Icon bit. Anyone want to help here??

"Learn to avoid situations that are so exciting you don't survive"
Chief Alan Brunacini, Phoenix Fire Dept.

Candybar changes a lot of the system icons and default look of the folders, etc- for the applications, you're on your own.

I used Pixadex to just drag and drop the apps onto the new Clipper icons..

[color:red]You slap my back, I'll slap yours!

I have never liked those cartoonish kind of looking icons. They'd be okay for a kid I guess. Well, we all have our own preferences when it comes to the GUI, no offense intended by my comment DM. Just not my style of icon. It works for you and that's what counts.
