Can somebody explain?

The bombings/attacks in Iraq are in protest to the US occupation. But aren't we giving them their sovereignty as of June 30th?

Sounds like there is a solid date for us to leave, so why the attacks?

-------
GottaGoOutside?
Maybe I'm a little naive on the subject, but why doesn't someone try and communicate to the Iraqi insurgents that the more they attack us, the longer the U.S. will see the need to be there...

[color:red]You slap my back, I'll slap yours!

They will never have their sovereignty! The US will "give them power back" just to make things look good in the face of the other nations. The US will still be the main control over Iraq for many more years to come.
If you knew all the bribery that is going on in there between the people at power from both sides, you would pull your hair out. If you knew all the abuse of power that goes on, you would start crying. If you knew all the anarchy and controlled poverty that is going on, you would feel sorry for being human.

Things are not that simple. The US controlls all Iraq with false promisses and dollar bills thrown left and right. Those people have not been freed from Saddam, just replaced one dictatorship with another.

Have you wondered why "after war footage" is soo well controlled? There are soo many things they do not let you see and soo many ideas they implement in your heads, simmilar to reality shows.

The war has just started, and anyone who lives there knows it.

_________________________________________
You expect me to sign here or somethin?

Mmmm....but...but...major combat operations have ended, right? I just don't understand. These people will (shortly) be getting what they want and they hate us.

Oh! The kids are home, time to make more Tang!

(said in a Cul-De-Sac accent).

-------
GottaGoOutside?
