I just got a fantastic phone call today. I'm sure that, post 9/11, most of you have heard of the Urban Search And Rescue (USAR) teams that FEMA administers here in the US. There are 26 such teams around the US, that can be deployed in 16 hours or less to respond to disasters. Memphis is the home base of Tennessee Task Force 1, and I got a call today that I have been accepted as a medical specialist in TNTF-1!!!! I'm a happy dog today!!!!
