I agree. I believe we have lost that great art of serious behaviour and mature communications. I, too, pledge to move to a more dignified manner of posting and responding to my fellow members.

Pull my finger... AHHHH!

[color:red]Alec
with all due respect, i'm pretty much gone too. too much BS being posted here to warrant my investment in the comments... that, and I'm busy as hell.

I long for the days of pertinent conversation to the Mac market... sure that's slowly picking up in the other forums, but at the same time, the lounge also seems a dumpgin ground for a lot of Mac stuff, but also has a lot of other stuff in it, which I'm frankly not interested in...

so, i'm gone.

thanks all for being here for the past 18 months or so... so you around somewhere.

"In the old days, you'd finish a day's work and announce, 'I'm done.' You DO comprehend the purpose of a "Lounge", yes? And you ARE aware of the other forums; Mac Local, OS X Diner... where the Mac discussions and news can be found, yes? And you HAVE noticed were it not for one of the most "vocal" members, MacGizmo, there would be virtually NO Mac threads to discuss ANYTHING Mac on any of these forums at the moment, right?

Just checking.

My question is; why, when a site sets aside a unique forum for babble, do some become so angered they choose to leave the entire site? No logic there!

[color:red]Alec
i agree that the lounge is for babble, but my attention spam in a thread can handle about 25 posts in any given thread. i haven't read the lurkers thread in a long time. in fact, i don't know that i can remember opening it...i do hope it goes away soon because it is difficult to navigate around when coming here. that being said, i would assume that many of you enjoy it and having fun is why we post, eh? party on wayne.

[color:blue] -sean
