#138105 - 02/12/0409:27 PMRe: Why is the menu bar so large in X?
They are the same size. Two things contribute to the perception that the X bar is bigger:

1.) the 9 apple is smaller and so is the font

2.) the 9 bar has a shadow below it, making the menu bar itself seem smaller, otherwise X is the same size.

Of course, everything else in X is gigantic compared to 9...and most things can be made smaller.
