I agree. It would be best to just never hear from or about him again, regardless of whether the US military captures or kills him. Parading his death will only turn him into a terrorist martyr, but if he just disappears people are more likely to forget about him than follow in his footsteps.

Dead right, so to speak. Nothing worse than a martyr delivered to the loony fringe on a plate. Wise heads at Revenge Central would be well advised to let Mr bin Laden drop quietly from view.

Osama who? Oh yeah...whatever happened to him?

Revenge, they say, is a dish best eaten cold.

I think Al Queda have had their 15 minutes. From here on I expect to see some new extremist factions emerging from the woodwork, and I'm sad to say that will always be the way.

Those humans, huh? What is it with them?

funnily enough this is exactly what I suggested and predicted that we should and would do.. on September 11 last year.
who cares?
Revenge yes if we so wish but do it quietly and surrepticiously, leaving no one the wiser as to where he went.. but preferrably leave him to sit in his own stink. As for sure... The world does not want to know him. Not even his own nation wants to know him.. What could be better?

Sent to Coventry, is where he should stay forever.

=============================================================
| "Behold the Turtle, he maketh no progress ==== until he sticketh out his neck." |
=============================================================

All though many people would agree that revenge would be acceptable in this case it does not justify the amount of innocent lives lost in taking out our "revenge". A good article that talks about that is one from The Progressive titled "A Just Cause, Not a Just War" by Howard Zinn.

revenge is a nasty word and a nasty place to be.
if the United states is a predominately Christian democratic society,
then revenge should never be iterated.
if democratic diplomacy is to be the way, then live it..

=============================================================
| "Behold the Turtle, he maketh no progress ==== until he sticketh out his neck." |
=============================================================
