So we heard a few months ago that Apple had hired the ad agency that did that ad in 84 and it was speculated Apple was going to introduce something new during the Superbowl again. But I guess that was it.

It would have been nice if the whole thing was B/W and only the iPod was color.
Or all B/W and the girl running in redone colors.

If I would have done it, that's how I would have done it.

___________________________________________
I'm just another Mac user at an 8 hour day Dilbert style cubicle job....
I like your take on an old idea, if only the ad agency Apple used was as intuitive.

"Or all B/W and the girl running in redone colors."

That's pretty much the way the original is.
Everything is a muted gray/blue except for the woman.

I like it. I never get tired of looking at bouncing . . . um . . . hammers. Yeah, that's it, a bouncing hammer.

Yes, but the background is still blueish... but my personnal way would have been all B/W with only the iPod color.

Then again, I wouldn't have used this add. If we really had to go back in time, I would have made a nice contrast between a Gramophon and the iPod.

___________________________________________
I'm just another Mac user at an 8 hour day Dilbert style cubicle job....
