Yesterday was our Annual Walk And Knock food drive in our area. As I was watching the news broadcasts I realized comparable events were going on all over. Please take a moment to take something from your cupboards or purchase a bag of food or even a cash gift helps. This year I let Rick do the preparing because it was his day off and I was working. I delayed leaving to add some to his. We came up with this.

Now I can't get sick again because I hardly have any chicken soup left. But it helps the waistline to get rid of some cake mixes.
There is one thing you can do online. Over at Macentral, MacWebmaster posted this wonderful link. Campbell's is donating a can of soup to the needy for every person that goes to their site and votes for their favorite NFL team.
Just click on your favorite team's helmet.
http://www.chunky.com/click_for_cans.asp

Thanks!

All of the grocery stores here have big bins at the front of the store for food bank donations. We often buy a few things and leave them here.

And at Christmas time, some of the malls have "Toy Mountain". It's a big tent where you can donate toys to poor families. One mall was clever enough to put it outside of Toys R Us - we dropped a few things in last night.
