Any fool can make an economy turn around if you give him a half-trillion dollar deficit to prime the pump. In the good old days when republicans were fiscal conservatives, they excoriated that kind of behavior as socialistic. The sad thing is that the socialism this time around is addressed to the wrong group of people. As to the refunds, on both occassions I did the only thing I could in good consicence do, which was to turn the money over to a public agency--my town's schools.

My name is yoyo. Nice to meet you.

Huh? I don't understand your point. MS gives windows to schools as a result of antitrust settlement, yet many argue it only perpetuates their monopoly.

Yo-yo gave Bush's personal tax break dollars to a local school, and he works at a college.

Umm... How uhh, what???

Hate to clue you in, but i do not work for the public schools. The idea that any act of charity is an act of self-interest is an abomination.

edit: To clarify, my wife does work for the public school in my town. You can draw whatever petty and self-satisfied conclusion you will from that fact.

My name is yoyo. What Should Bush's 2004 Agenda Be?

First, go back to his ranch and rest a while. Maybe write a book. Then, find a job since he will not be president and probably do a lot of charity work for his church. Maybe be a missionary in the far East.
