Just installed 10.2 on my G3 powerbook followed by Virtual PC ver 5. The application (Maptech) tries to find a GPS that I have attached to the serial port. I need some advice on how to troubleshoot this problem.

Virtual PC does not support GPS programs of any flavor at least that's the word from Conectrix when I last checked. This isn't to say you can't view or run GPS map programs in V.PC, but in general, you will have issues with serial ports. There is a site I have buried somewhere that discusses some of the work-arounds, notwithstanding the fact that it may a bit dated. I'll see if I can dig up a link and post it.
