#116262 - 11/12/0303:48 PMApple's Front Page - OUCH!
The current front page features Time's quote about iTunes. I'm a little nervous when Apple starts advocating/justifying itself...it seems like they are addressing commentary like "Apple's the little guy/sucks"...

===================
[color:blue]"Does This Hole In The Ground Make My Ass Look Fat?"
----
S3V3N
Washington, DC USA
I understand what you are saying. On the other hand, I think they are just showing a little pride.
Now, if they had Rodney Dangerfield doing a commercial saying "we don't get no respect".......

Oh sorry...wasn't intending it to sound that way.

I was trying to articulate that, to me, the use of the article comes across as "dignifying the (implied) question with a response" in a more direct fashion than usual...the implied question being "is Apple a serious/legit contender?".

It's always seemed to me that Apple didn't face such criticism head-on, prefering to just innovate and let the product speak for itself. In short, avoiding breaking the fourth wall.

Trust me...with the setup I have at home...I have no complaints about Apple. :o)

===================
[color:blue]"Does This Hole In The Ground Make My Ass Look Fat?"
----
S3V3N
Washington, DC USA
