OK..got this from someone else:

The 10.3.1 Update delivers enhanced functionality and improved reliability for the following applications, services and technologies: FileVault, Printing, WebDav, and FireWire 800 drives. This update also includes the latest Security Updates

Just installed it, but the Security Update was not allowed to be installed? I went to the Apple OSX download site and got it there. It also will not allow this Security Update to be installed...
It says:
"SecurityUpd2003-11-04 cannot be installed on this computer.

This update requires Mac OS X v10.3 before this software can be installed".???
Last time I looked I just successfully downloaded 10.3.1???
hmmm...

ohhh my mistake!
I wasnt aware.....
Thanks for letting me know!

I just updated my powerbook and only the only update that showed was 10.3.1, without the Security Update as a separate downlaod...

Anyhoooo.... No problems here (yet) with this update in case anyone is waiting to see if this update has claws...

Since I don't use Filevault, my printing is just fine and I don't use WebDav (I don't even know what it is,) I may just pass on this update.
Unless somebody says it will lower my cholesterol.
