Anybody notice any new features or anything? Was this an upgrade for Apple's sake (selling product) or the user (managing music, etc.)?

I was reading the description on Apple's site, but it seems to me that the 'new' features are only new if you are a Windows user and didn't have this app to begin with.

"Does This Hole In The Ground Make My Ass Look Fat?"
----
S3V3N
Washington, DC USA
from the SU panel:

iTunes 4.1 lets you share music between Mac and Windows computers, buy Audible spoken word content from the iTunes Music Store using your Apple Account, synchronize On-The-Go playlists and voice notes created on your iPod, burn large playlists on multiple discs without interruption, and drag URLs from the Music Store to an email or other program.

Music sharing requires Mac OS X version 10.2.4 or later, and AAC encoding requires QuickTime 6.2 or later.

Hmmm...thanks for that info. I'll upgrade, but file this under a win for Apple and the third parties (belkin, Pepsi, etc.)...not the MAC users. Still...it's a great day for Apple and Windows users. I hope this is the day that the coup started.

Microsoft:"We won't make a Mac web browser anymore"
Apple:"Okay. We'll make our own...by the way we're gonna cream you with iTunes".

I already had two coworkers (unsolicitedly) come ask me about iTunes for Windows....one saying he was sorely tempted to get an iPod now (after he already bought one of the other brands), and the other asking if it'd be good for his nephews.

"Does This Hole In The Ground Make My Ass Look Fat?"
----
S3V3N
Washington, DC USA

iTunes Win vs. Mac (round1)

The windows version doesn't have a toolbar menu (File...Edit..View...etc.) for bringing the Equalizer to the front. You have to use the button in the lower right of the interface. I'm used to going Window -> Equalizer.

"Does This Hole In The Ground Make My Ass Look Fat?"
----
S3V3N
Washington, DC USA
