I really like the new iMac, but as a graphic designer, I need the power & expandability that the tower offers. But if I were a casual web surfer/e-mailer, or writer, I would buy the 17" iMac as fast as I could get my hands on one.<br><br>[color:red]semicolon dash parenthesis</font color=red>

In your position I would agree. For myself I think it would be great. I'm only an amateur artist dabbling with PS and Painter as a hobby. That new iMac had me very excited. It has double the speed of my current G4 and the screen resolution is fantastic.<br><br><br><br>
