Going to a pot luck at my Sissy's place Thursday, 3 out 4 of us sibs and a few of their offspring. One of my jobs is to make my world famous deviled eggs, the horseradish and dijon is the key to the kick. I also am bringing the veggie tray and dips for that and chips.

Looking to do something different for the dips (not my sibs) than the salty commercial options. I can Google, found a couple that look good. The dill dip is easy, onion, shallot, garlic, sugar, seasoning salt and some combo of cream cheese, mayo, and sour cream.

The french onion. Onions, shallots, garlic, sautÚd with thyme, vinegar, worcestershire, beef broth, celery salt, white/black pepper. Cool, add some combo of cream cheese, mayo, and sour cream.

Anybody know of anything else to make either go Wow.

BTW, not worried about low fat.

For my world famous deviled eggs, these are close ratios, to taste of course. For me I would do 2 tbsp horseradish, for common folk 1. Horseradish and dijon is the difference though, adds great flavor. I hate runny and smooth deviled eggs.

6 eggs
1/2 tbsp finely chopped sweet onion
1/2 tbsp finely chopped green onions
1/2 tbsp finely chopped green onions
1-2 tbsp sweet pickle relish (start with 1)
1-2 tsp horseradish, well drained
1 tsp dijon mustard
3 tbsp Mayo (add this last to get to desired thickness)
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp white pepper
Some parsley
Paprika for garnish
