Remember the old 8" and 5 1/4 " floppy disks... that were really floppy ! I think our 5 1/4 " on the TRS-80 held about 64K !! WOO-WOO !!
The Brits called the original floppies - floppies and the hard cased ones "Stiffies". My old boss came to CDC from S. Aftica and the first time he went in and asked the Secretary if she had any spare "Stiffies", he thought he was going to be brought up on Sexual Harassment charges !! He had some quick 'splaining to do !!
