My dad was a Rebublican ,and he lived in a republican state, but what I remember from him most was that he would say that we need to get rid of the rats in Topeka, whether democrat or republican. From what I've observed over the years in politics tht there isn't any difference whether a politician is one or the other . After a while their Shhit stinks. That politicians will say anything to what group to which they are speaking to get their votes.

Over my life I've oted democrat and republican and libertarian. In local and national elections.

But after two terms I will try to find reasons to vote the rats out.

My family considers me a liberal. Here among this liberal forum, I'm considered a conservative. I guess it's what stands out.
