One of the things I HATE a/b my 'hood in Dayton is that all the street names are so weird I always have to spell them when someone needs my addy. In NYC, almost all the streets are either just a number or a single letter of the alphabet. Streets all run east-west, so just add the E or W prefix, and the avenues all run north-south. Too easy.
