At this point, the subject of gun control usually comes up, with the requisite "guns don't kill people, people do" defense from the pro-gun crowd.

I noticed this morning that in China a man attacked kindergarten children, stabbing 28 of them with a knife. Death toll? Zero.

Contrast that with today's tragedy here in the US -- 28 dead, 18 of which were children -- where basically the only difference was the weapon used.

Kind of makes the point, doesn't it?
