I knew the redistribution of electoral votes had favored the Republicans, but hadn't crunched the numbers until now. In states that have gone blue in the last 3 Pres elections, there was a total loss of 6 electoral votes. In states that have gone red in the same period, there was a gain of 6 votes (4 in Texas alone)! The only consistently blue state that gained a vote (just one) was Washington. The swing states that have lost or gained votes in this election is a mixed bag, hard to figure.

Without considering the swing states, that is a 12 point gap to overcome. Man. Curse liberals and their notoriously small families!
