No. It isn't.



In the MobileMe pref pane. It copies your iDisk contents to your local drive. That's when iDisk syncing becomes a problem, because it compares the contents between your local copy and your iDisk on Apple's servers. Simply mounting your iDisk is the same as mounting a network server/HDD.
