Heard another scary story on last night's The Ed Show.
There are 27,000 abandoned oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico. BP owns a bucket load. They may be a ticking time bomb if any start leaking. They also may account for random tarballs before the BP disaster.
ONE question posed is that there are NOT 27,000 permits for oil drilling in the Gulf, so this is another indication that the oil companies do whatever they damm well please.. BP being only 1. Up front, they appear to be following regs and rules, but behind the scene s they are rogue and wreckless companies.
