Like I mentioned before, if you get the initial setup exact, it makes things easier all down the line. Fubar'd Windows sharing is a symptom of not setting things up right. Although some of it could also just be Snow Leopard Server. Sometimes there is no backing out of it, you have to fully wipe and reboot.

I'll never get tired of using that. grin
