A strange problem. NUTD server reset its port number to 3178 from 3179. This seems to have happened spontaneously. Server is in fact working, and users of NUTD can connect if they reset the connections to the new port. However, Server Manager sees the server as down, and cannot connect to it. So the port cannot be returned to its correct setting, so all the users have to reconnect. Tried restarts and checking the hard disk with Disk Warrior, no problems found.
