For the powerbook g4 Aluminum, i know that max spec for RAM is rated at 2gb. Will this work with just one stick of 2gb RAM or will each dimm slot only max out at 1gb. If i still a 2gb stick in there, will it not recognize it at all, or will it just read it as 1gb? Is there a performance difference from having 2 equally rated sticks of RAM, or does it not matter? I am aware of the type of RAM i need.
For hard drive replacement. Is there any limitations on size? If so, is the limitation the logic board, or the OS? I assume it's a PATA connection, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a website with a list of compatible HDDs or RAM for the powerbook? thank you.
