I currently have 2 512mb sticks in my mbp core duo, and i'm looking to upgrade to 1.5 or 2gb. My dad's old Toshiba laptop was upgraded with (i think) a 1gb stick, so would I be able to use that in my mbp? and does the ram have to be matched pairs or can I use a 1gb and a 512mb?
