I never take it anywhere.  its a slow 5400rpm 2.5"  I use it to hold all my itunes music.

i'm tempted to just get a 2.5 - 3.5 adapter and run it right on the ata 66 bus in the front of my mdd.  it would be much faster than usb 2.0.  I get maybe 12mb/sec over usb..  when this drive was in my mac mini I got 30-36mb/sec.
