back in 98 I had a 6400 and loved it. 

but..  even if you got x running it would be very very very slow.

I recently bought a B&W G3 on ebay for 20 bucks.  it will support osx without xpostfacto.  the B&W G3 is supported with tiger and it runs quite well on mine.  I have a 350 that I overclocked to 400.

something to think about..  use the 6500 as a classic machine.
