Hey guys,

I got to thinking that I could take the original IDE ribbon cable out and put my own into the computer. I could remove the end connector from my own cable and the factory cable, and swap the cable. And, because my floppy drive no longer works (because I accidentally knelt on it), I can put one of the two drives in the floppy bay.

You guys realize that my Performa is a desktop model, and not a tower, do you not?

The cable I wish to put into the Performa is from an HP computer. It has markings that indicate what drive goes where on the cable, so that makes my life easier.

Well, g2g (gotta go).
